ICE

A recent article from the Toronto Star, "the ICE idea", is catching on and it is a very simple, yet important method of contact for you or a loved one in case of an emergency.

As cell phones are carried by the majority of the population, all you need to do is program the number of a contact person or persons and store the name as "ICE".

The idea was thought up by a paramedic who found that when they went to the scenes of accidents, there were always mobile phones with patients, but they didn't know which numbers to call.

He therefore thought that it would be a good idea if there was a nationally recognized name to file "next of kin" under.

Following a disaster in London, The East Anglican Ambulance Service has launched a national "In Case of Emergency (ICE)" campaign.

The idea is that you store the word "ICE " in your mobile phone address book, and with it enter the number of the person you would want to be contacted "In Case of Emergency".

In an emergency situation, Emergency Services personnel and hospital staff would then be able to quickly contact your next of kin, by simply dialing the number programmed under "ICE".

Please forward this to everybody in your address book. It won't take too many "forwards" before everybody will know about this. It really could save your life, or put a loved one's mind at rest.

For more than one contact name simply enter ICE1, ICE2, and ICE3 etc.

A MMORPG Love Story

I was a soloer ..... all i care for is the EXP..... all i know of is grinding....

That day as usual i took MC and decided to grind through the whole day... i was in a zone but there's too many groups around killing all the mobs so i decided to look around the zone.... there she was standing just beside the lake.... she is a mob.... a green mob.... i could have killed her with a special.... it's so easy.

But ..... i fall for her. She attacked me.. i did not fight back... my hp was low.. i died.. i respawned... i ran back she attacked me again. After a few times she gave up... she began to look me in the eye... and i into hers....

Time files.... we were together... people saw us together.... soon the GMs came to know about it. We decided to flee.... to elope to a zone where no one can find us.. not even the GMs...

I heard of a zone call 'eternal' from one of the Guild leader.. he led us the way.. soon his account was banned.

I could see the zone line... we flee towards the zone... i held her hand tight... i never felt this way before.... suddenly everything turned black.... The server was down.

I finally was able to log on my account..... i went in..... reroll.. EVERTHING IS BEEN REROLL TO THE DAY BEFORE I MET HER....

I went to the lake.. she was not there... i waited and waited... she did not spawn...

The GMS can take everything away..... but somethings .. just somethings.. will always remained in the server.

Love Is Blind

There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she's blind.

She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He's always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend.
